Clinical Service

The Division is responsible for the management of patients with various rheumatic and immunologic disorders on both in- and out-patient basis. Acute in-patient service is provided at Queen Mary Hospital while chronic arthritis rehabilitation is carried out in MacLehose Medical Rehabilitation Centre.

There are regular out-patient clinics at Queen Mary Hospital. There are 2 general rheumatology clinics, 1 rheumatoid arthritis clinic and 1 systemic lupus erythematosus and other connective tissue disorders clinic. In addition, there is a bi-weekly combined chronic arthritis clinic at MacLehose Medical Rehabilitation Centre.

As part of a holistic approach to chronic rheumatoid disorders, the Division is also heavily involved in patient and public education through the engagement with the Hong Kong Arthritis & Rheumatism Foundation, Community Rehabilitation Network and various patient self-help groups.

Specialist Outpatient Clinics

The Specialist Outpatient Clinic at Queen Mary Hospital only accepts appointments (with referral letters) for patients in the catchman area of the Hong Kong West Cluster. Non-HK residents will be charged appropriate fees set by the Hospital. There are NO walk-in service available, all cases are by appointment only.
