Update on Diabetes Management Course 2017
Diabetes is now one of the most common non-communicable diseases globally, with a total of 366 million cases expected by 2030. In Hong Kong, one in ten adults suffers from diabetes. Over the past decade, the advent of new diagnostic criteria, the development of novel anti-diabetic agents and the advances in monitoring systems and treatment devices have led to considerable changes in our approach to diabetes management. This course aims to equip practicing clinicians with the most updated information and knowledge on the provision of comprehensive diabetes care. Specialists will be invited to share their expertise on various aspects of diabetes management with our participants so that they, in turn, can help their patients to achieve optimal metabolic control and reduce the risk oflong-term complications. We cordially invite you to join in this enjoyable weekend course.
