The HKMF will take place in Room N101, 1/F (New Wing), Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Center (HKCEC), 1 Expo Drive, Wan Chai, Hong Kong. For further information regarding locations, transportations, car parks etc. please consult the HKCEC website:

Food & Beverages (F&B)

Coffee and tea will be served in the foyer area of Room N101, 1/F (New Wing) and at/nearby the Exhibition Area.

Lunch (Western Tray Meal) will be distributed in the foyer area of Room N101, 1/F (New Wing) and at/nearby the Exhibition Area to all registered participants on a first-come-first served basis. There is NO separate registration for lunch.

Call for Abstract Submission

There are no free paper sessions for oral nor poster presentations. Hence participants will NOT be invited to submit abstracts.

Audio-Visual Preview for Speakers

Computer PowerPoint previews are available in the Secretariat Room and will be opened for the duration of the Forum. Staff will be on hand to offer any assistants.

Certificate of Attendance

An e-Certificate of Attendance will be issued to all registrants who have attended the Forum. This is available to download from the HKMF website for 3 months after the Forum. Any e-certificate request after this date will be charged an administration fee of HKD50. No hardcopy certificate will be issued.

Audio-Visual Recordings

Please note that all scientific sessions may be recorded for future publications or production of Forum related material. However participants’ identification will not be revealed without prior consent.


Name badges will be used during the Forum. Participants are requested to wear their badges in a clearly visible place as no admission is permitted without the badge, which will be available upon the collection of their registration pack.

Security & Insurance

The HKMF will not be responsible for personal accidents, lost and damage to the private property of participants. Participants should take care not to leave their belongings unattended at all times and should therefore make their own arrangements with respect to personal insurance if they wish. All personal belongings found during the Forum will be kept in the Secretariat Room until the end of the meeting of which will be transferred to the Lost & Found office of the HKCEC.

Letter of Invitation

The Organising Committee can upon request send a letter of invitation to participants. This invitation letter is only intended to facilitate participants' leave, travel and visa arrangements and DOES NOT imply the provision of any financial or other support. Please note that this letter is NOT confirmation of registration nor receipt for payment of registration fee. Please forward payment BEFORE registration processed and a separate confirmation letter will be issued.

Passport & Visa

A valid passport is required for entry to Hong Kong SAR. Further information are available from Immigration Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region website. Participants should check with them or their nearest Chinese Embassy / Consulate offices in their own country if visa is required for Hong Kong


There are no official hotels but the 2 hotels adjacent to the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre are the most convenient.
