| Detail: | Confusion after the use of acyclovir in a peritoneal dialysis patients with herpes zoster often places diagnostic challenge to the medical team. It is often difficult to confidently differentiate acyclovir neurotoxicity from herpes encephalitis. In this presentation, we will discuss the presentation and management of acyclovir toxicity, high-lightly the importance of carefully choosing medications for dialysis patients. |
