Taught Postgraduate
Master of Clinical Research and Product Development (MCRPD)
English | 中文Since 2023, the HKSAR Government has initiated plans to develop Hong Kong into a Health and Medical Innovation Hub. One of the initiatives is the establishment of the Hong Kong Centre for Medical Products Regulation (CMPR), which is targeted to operate by the end of 2026. Once established, Hong Kong will be able to independently approve new medical products through its own regulatory system, reducing reliance on overseas approvals. This important development is expected to accelerate access to innovative medical treatments and stimulate growth in medical research and development across Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area (GBA), and neighbouring regions.
MCRPD is an interdisciplinary programme (with 1-year full-time and 2-year part-time options) designed to equip students with the professional knowledge and practical skills required to meet the increasing demand for talent in drug and medical device registration, clinical research management, and healthcare product development.
