Master of Clinical Research and Product Development (MCRPD)
The Department of Medicine is pleased to announce a new Master of Clinical Research and Product Development (MCRPD) programme for 2026-27 admission. This interdisciplinary programme is designed to nurture students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills for clinical research management and healthcare product development.Our programme covers three core areas of study - clinical therapeutics, clinical research management and healthcare product development, offering students a holistic understanding of the field.

Curriculum

Admission Requirements
To be eligible for admission to the curriculum leading to the degree of Master of Clinical Research and Product Development, candidates shall:
- comply with the General Regulations and the Regulations for Taught Postgraduate Curricula; and
- hold a Bachelor’s degree of this University, or a qualification of equivalent standard from this University or another comparable institution accepted for this purpose. Preference will be given to candidates who have graduated from healthcare-related programmes; and
- satisfy the examiners in a qualifying examination, if required.
For applicant who is seeking admission on the basis of a qualification from a university or comparable institution outside Hong Kong, where the language of teaching and/or examination is not English, is required to obtain one of the examination results to fulfil the English language requirements.
