HKU-Cambridge Joint Medical Symposium
HKU-Cambridge Joint Medical SymposiumThe HKU-Cambridge Joint Medical Symposium, held on November 11, 2023 (Saturday) at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel, was one of the events organized to mark the 100th anniversary.
Under the theme “Embracing Medical Sciences into the Next Centenary”, the symposium brought together distinguished speakers from HKU and the University of Cambridge to discuss the latest advancements and challenges in medical sciences and research.
The event also featured the AJS McFadzean Distinguished Lecture by Prof. James Rowe and a lecture for the inaugural Rosie Young Fellowship and Scholarship in Internal Medicine by Prof. Sir Stephen O'Rahilly, both from the University of Cambridge.
